An Attic Conversion With A Sound Proof Edge.

Construction of an attic space with wooden framing, drywall, and tools scattered on the floor.

Challenge:

This growing family needed more usable space and with a musician in the house, they needed a solution that would allow for creativity without disrupting the rest of the home.

Solution:

Alpha designed a full attic conversion that delivered on two fronts: a new bedroom and en-suite, and a dedicated music room fitted with acoustic insulation and soundproof plasterboard.

Music studio corner with guitars on the wall, keyboard, and desk with a microphone.

Customization:

From layout to finishes, the build was tailored to meet the practical and acoustic needs of the space. Every element was chosen with sound control and durability in mind.

Result:

A smart, functional top floor built for this family’s specific needs—with comfort, privacy, and sound separation all built in.

  • “We needed more space, but also somewhere my husband could play music without it echoing through the house. Alpha completely understood what we were after—they suggested soundproofing options we wouldn’t have thought of, and now the space works perfectly for everyone.”
